Description

Look up at the Barbados sky on a clear morning. That soft, shifting blue between pale aqua and deep ocean. That is Larimar.

These stud earrings are hand-wrapped in Barbados using natural Dominican Larimar, the only gemstone native to the Caribbean. Each stone is hand-selected for its color and quality, ranging from soft seafoam green through to deep sky blue. No two pairs are identical. That is the nature of the stone.

The setting is clean and secure. A hand-wrapped wire stud, finished in your choice of 925 sterling silver or 14kt gold-filled. No glue. No shortcuts. Just the gem and the metal, made to last.

Larimar comes from one place on earth: a single mountain in the Dominican Republic. It travels from there to your ears, finished by Caribbean hands here in Barbados. There is something in that journey worth wearing.

Available in sterling silver or 14kt gold-filled. Small batch. Hand-selected stones.

A Note on Larimar Larimar is the only Caribbean gemstone in the world. It forms in just one location: a remote mountain in the Dominican Republic. The color comes from trace amounts of cobalt and copper in the volcanic rock, which is why every stone reads differently. Some lean pale and misty. Some are vivid and deep. When you choose your metal at checkout, feel free to message me if you have a color preference and I will do my best to match it.

JewelryCare

Your jewelry is made to last — but like anything special, it depends on how well you care for it. Here’s what you need to know to keep your pieces looking their best.

  • Gold-Filled Jewelry:Gold-filled is hypoallergenic and water-resistant, but regular exposure to sweat, oils, and chemicals can dull its shine over time.Clean frequently to remove buildup and keep the finish bright.
  • Sterling Silver:Silver will naturally tarnish, but it can be polished back to shine using a soft silver polishing cloth.Solid pieces like bars and pendants can be gently cleaned at home. For fine or delicate silver strands, scan the barcode on your packaging for a video care guide.
  • Pearls:Pearls are organic and respond beautifully to natural skin oils — but they are sensitive to perfumes, sprays, and chemicals.Wipe gently after wear and avoid exposing them to harsh products or excessive moisture.
  • General Care Tips:Don’t shower, swim, exercise, or get massages in your jewelry. Constant exposure to moisture, heat, and oils will weaken or damage your pieces over time.Handle your fine strands with care and remove jewelry before high-contact activities.A quick reference guide is included on the back of your packaging for everyday reminders.
  • Storage:Store each piece separately in the pouch provided to prevent scratches or tangling.
  • Cleaning:Use a soft polishing cloth for gold-filled and sterling silver pieces.Gently wipe pearls and delicate stones with a soft, damp cloth only.Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive products on all jewelry types.
  • Maintenance:Inspect clasps and settings regularly for wear, and have any loose parts repaired promptly to avoid loss or damage.
